The Citizenship Class prepares students with

  1. knowledge of U.S. civics and history;

  2. literacy skills; and

  3. oral English skills necessary to successfully pass their Citizenship test.

 Classes are free of charge – Students pay for the course book @ $30.00

The Irish International Immigrant Center provides students with technical and legal help in applying for citizenship.

Dates for pre-screening applications and for application workshops to be announced.

To register, students must attend the first Saturday class of each semester and bring their Legal Permanent Resident Card.

Citizenship Class meets every Saturday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM except during holidays and school vacations

Saturdays, 9:00am to 12:00pm, starting Saturday, June 3 through Saturday, August 19.


This class prepares students for all parts of their Citizenship test:  literacy test, 100 questions about U.S. history and government, as well as, help with improving speaking and listening abilities in English.

We are partnered with the Irish International Immigrant Center which provides applicants free technical and legal help in completing their applications for citizenship.


Requirements: Basic level English    
  Legal Permanent Resident card for 5 years /3 if married to an American citizen
