The WinnCompanies Maintenance Apprenticeship Program is a 12-month career development opportunity that combines on-the-job training with expert instruction from The Peterson School and WinnCompanies. The program offers full-time roles as maintenance technicians and great employee benefits.
Curriculum
The Winn program covers and provides hands-on training in many essential areas, including electrical systems, refrigeration, boilers, heating and air conditioning systems, landscaping, snow removal, apartment turnovers, pest management, preventative maintenance, appliance repair, basic plumbing, basic electrical, basic mechanical, and customer service.
Participants go through 2,000 hours of on-the-job training and 150 hours of classroom instruction. They receive nationally recognized credentials and industry-specific certifications from the State of MA.
