WEATHERIZATION: Check for next start date: Weatherization teaches how to make buildings safer and more energy efficient. It is one of American's fastest growing industries. AACA's weatherization training is a two-week, free program that is followed by "guaranteed job placement". It also offers training bonuses to everyone who successfully completes the program. BUILDING ENERGY EFFICIENT MAINTENANCE SKILLS (BEEMS): Check for next start date The BEEMS Program lasts 17 weeks and trains participants for a career as a maintenance technician/engineer. The course teaches the basics of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electricity, and the job skills needed for success. Classes are held in the early evenings twice a week. BANKING AND FINANCE: Next class starts in January: This 6-week program allows you to learn the essentials of retail and commercial banking, assists with job search and placement, and offers a training bonus. Please find all the important details on the AACA site.
