APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING

Key Info:

MassBioEd is recruiting for the next Biomanufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program, which will based in the Central MA and Metro West areas. An apprenticeship is a great way to get free training and begin a career in the biotech industry. As a Biomanufacturing Technician, one helps deliver life-changing biological products and therapies to patients.

Apprentices will take 14 weeks of free classes. Classes will begin towards the end of July. Some classes will be online and some will be in person at WPI in Worcester, MA.

** After successful completion of all classes, apprentices will then gain valuable practical experience by doing one year of full-time paid work with a biopharmaceutical company. This year, those work positions will be in Devens and Marlborough, with the possibility of other locations to be added.

To do the program:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship.

  • No science background is required.

  • The job will require strong attention to detail, teamwork, and good communication skills.
