JVS Offers English 2 Employment Trainings
English 2 Employment:
There are two English 2 Employment programs at JVS Boston -- Rapid and Career Advancement. These programs help refugees and immigrants (who are authorized to work in the United States) improve their English in order to maximize finding a job and grow in their careers.

Program duration varies based on individuals' goals and progress
Free employment-oriented English classes
Expert career coaching for job searches and applications
Help with preparation for job interviews
Skills training, workshops, and job fairs
Continued support after people start working
Overview of English 2 Employment: Career Advancement
Program duration varies based on individuals' goals and progress
Personal career coaching for up to 12 months
Resume review and new resume creation
Job-search and application support for jobs, trainings, certifications, and/or educational opportunities
Workshops focusing on tech skills; searching for a job; career skills; and financial literacy
These programs have rolling admissions, so students can apply and enroll in coaching any time. The English classes that are part of the programs enroll new students monthly, starting on the first Monday of each month.
