St. Mark's Small Business Workshops

St Mark Community Education Program, in collaboration with Cambridge Savings Bank, offers free quarterly online small business workshops. The workshops are taught by Mr. Eddy Desir, an AVP Financial Education Specialist with an area of expertise in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Each workshop includes the following 4 sessions:

  • improving and managing cash flow

  • marketing strategies

  • the importance of credit

  • why financing is critical

These sessions are designed for people who are interested in starting a new business, as well as for people who already own a small business. They're particularly geared towards helping immigrant entrepreneurs succeed.

Those who attend all four Small Business Workshops will receive a Certificate of Completion from Cambridge Savings Bank and be eligible to work with a mentor from the bank.
