Goodwill's mission is to help people achieve independence through work. Each year, they serve thousands of people with job training programs, career advising, and assistance with job placement. In addition, as of January 1, 2025, the MassHire Boston Career Center on Harrison Avenue officially became the Goodwill Boston Career Center.
